Remember When....

Remember when we were worried gas might cost 2-dollars a gallon? Wouldn't that be nice. What are you paying these days? I've seen anywhere from 4.11.9 to 4.29.9 around Norwalk this week.

One of the top oil industry analysts is right in our backyard. You may have heard or seen Peter Beutel of New Canaan-based Cameron Hanover on media reports about oil prices. I had the chance to talk to him for one of our Public Affairs programs that aired last weekend. He says even the experts didn't see the current record prices coming. Peter points to supply and demand issues as reasons for the jumps and also points the finger at the Federal Reserve and the weakened U-S dollar. He doesn't see prices going down in the future.

So how are you coping? Are you cutting back on other purchases? Changing driving habits? Have you noticed any "good deals" on gas? Let me know. Wendy
